My 2007 racing program came together the second week of April in 2007, so we went to the first race with barely two days of pre-season testing. Shell, HBR Motorsport and I took on a fantastic challenge in 2007, my learning year, and I certainly learned a lot every race weekend, particularly as most of the circuits were new to me. Look below at how my lap-time percentage gaps to the quickest improved across the season as I gained more experience and confidence.
2007 was a fantastic journey as I improved in every area and closed the speed gap to the front-runners, while emerging as the quickest driver in our team several times towards the end of the season. I can't wait to apply my development in the 2008 championship!
